Understanding Music with UPAMANYU KAR:

An Introduction to Aural Perception

(A Musical Workshop Presented by UPAMANYU KAR)

Introducing a Grand Musical Workshop: 'Understanding Music with UPAMANYU KAR: An Introduction to Aural Perception'.

Music, according to the mass, has many "definitions". However, truly speaking, Music has a profound identity: a Language.

What is "Aural Perception"? Aural Perception is the profound, in-depth study of listening, understanding and analysing the "deep structure" of music. Although the journey of learning and assimilating the Language of Music is a far-fetched one, in this workshop, we're going to have a small taste of the same.

----------------------------------------------

Upamanyu Kar is an internationally accomplished, renowned composer, educator and music researcher, who is commonly known for unimaginable (sometimes "miraculous"), unique and innovative approaches towards artistic creations. As an Educator, too, Upamanyu has achieved tremendous excellence through establishing Aural Perception while teaching Music Theory (Rudiments, Harmony etc.) through the Music Lessons.
